The Apex Flex GTX® Hoody is a rain jacket built for up-tempo trail time and is u ltra soft, unbelievably light, impossibly dry. A waterproof, breathable three-layer GORE-TEX® shell blocks out the wet to keep you dry, while a soft-knit face and stretch-knit backer delivers all the comfort of your favourite hoodie. The super-light construction helps keep you nimble across challenging terrain. At 800g, The North Face have trimmed a noticeable 40g of weight from the previous version of this jacket.

Granted, it's not the lightest waterproof out there, but given just how much of a superhero of the jacket world the Apex Flex 2.0 is, 800g is a pretty good weight/tech ratio. Waterproof, breathable, seam-sealed GORE-TEX® 3L shell with a soft-knit face and stretch-knit backer. Attached, fully adjustable hood with overlay-tape detailing at adjustment points.

Exposed, matte polyurethane (PU), two-colour VISLON® centre front zip. Semi-exposed, PU, secure-zip chest pocket with bellow on left. Angled, invisible chest stash pocket on right.
